Call for Articles - "Legacy of 1989" - Special Issue of Remembrance and Solidarity Studies in 20th Century European History

Description

Remembrance and Solidarity Studies in 20th Century European History is inviting articles for the upcoming special issue of the journal.
The next issue will be devoted to the 25th anniversary of the fall of communism, its imprint on young people, historian and eyewitnesses of regime change. Experienced and young scholars are invited to submit articles, books reviews or conference reports which will be an attempt to assess legacy of 1989.

Eligible topics

Those who are interested to contribute are invited to examine and discuss political, economic, social and cultural consequences of this annus mirabilis.

Guidelines for submission

All articles must be submitted within the provided deadline in Microsoft Word format (*.doc). All articles must comply to the provided formatting guidelines.
Articles will be accepted in English or in language native to the author.
Submissions should be emailed as attachment to: studies@enrs.eu

After submitting your article you should receive a confirmation email that your email has arrived. The review process normally takes approximately 8 - 10 weeks, but may occasionally exceed this time frame. First part of the review process involves screening of your work by the editors to determine its suitability for the journal. This is followed by an anonymous peer - review process at the end of which the editors will reach a decision with regards to your manuscript. You will be informed by email if your work will be printed in the II edition.
