How to apply to the Winter School

Eligibility

The Winter School is designed for participants from all nationalities who wish to develop their knowledge on federalism and fundamental rights via an interdisciplinary and comparative approach. They welcome applications from doctoral, postgraduate and undergraduate students, academics, officials, politicians, journalists, employees of international organizations or NGOs, as well as interested citizens.
The two-week Winter School welcomes an international audience: young researchers and academics, post-graduate or undergraduate students, civil servants from a local, regional or national government as well as employees of international organizations or NGOs.


Application Procedure

This International Winter School offers all participants an international, albeit challenging, learning environment. It is carried out one week in Innsbruck (Austria) and one week in Bolzano/Bozen (Italy) and includes lectures by renowned academics from Europe, USA, Canada, Africa, Asia and Australia, discussions and case studies with experts from international administrations and judicial bodies, institutional study visits with politicians and a publice lecture with academics in Bolzano/Bozen.  
Successful participants of the programme are awarded 10 ECTS credits. The working language is English.
