Covering the Arab Spring: A Russian Media Perspective

Program

The Russian and Eurasian Security Research Group of the Department of War Studies, King’s College London, will be hosting a meeting on “Covering the Arab Spring: A Russian Media Perspective”, with the participation of Yevgeniy Konovalov. Konovalov heads the Moscow bureau at BBC Monitoring - a division of the BBC which monitors, and reports on the media from 150 countries and in 70 languages. Mr Konovalov will provide insights about Russian media coverage of the Arab uprisings, in particular the recent developments in Syria.
The meeting will be chaired by Dr. Natasha Kuhrt of the Eurasian Security Research Group.

How to participate to the Event

Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday April 18, at King's College, London; Department of War Studies; Strand, London WC2R 2LS in room K6.07 at 16:00.
