Program

In the 90th anniversary of Alexander Dubček's birth, the Istsituto per l'Europa Centro-Orientale e Balcanica together with the Municipality of Forlì organize an exhibition to commemorate the Czechoslovak statesman. The exhibition will consist of 90 panels of iconographic material divided into three different sections devoted to Dubček's biography, the connection between the statesman and Italy and the main events of the Prague's Spring respectively.
 
The exibition will be officially inaugurated on November 15 at the presence of the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic in Italy, Mária Krasnohorská, the Director of the Slovak Institute in Rome, Peter Krupár, and the Honorary Consul for the Slovak Republic in Emilia-Romagna, Alvaro Ravaglioli.
 
Italian and Slovak historians will debate on Alexander Dubček, the Prague's Spring and the historial legacy in Europe during a Round Table chaired by prof. Stefano Bianchini (University of Bologna).
