Main Scientific Activities

  • Nicolai N. Petro is Professor of Politics at the University of Rhode Island (USA). During the collapse of the Soviet Union he served as special assistant for policy in the U.S. State Department. He is the author or editor of eight books and has written about Russia for the American Interest, Asia Times, Christian Science Monitor, International Herald Tribune, Harvard International Review, and Wilson Quarterly.
