Historiographic controversies surrounding the crime of Katyn

Program

The Polish Academy of Rome, in collaboration with the Polish Institute of Rome, organizes a conference in memory of prof. Victor Zaslavsky. The event will be divided into two parts: the first one, in Polish with a simultaneous translation into Italian, will be a speech by Zbigniew Karpus who will explain the roots of the Katyn massacre; the second part will be a round table in Italian with a focus on Zaslavsky as an important scholar of Soviet totalitarian regime.
Prof. Elena Aga-Rossi, prof. Zaslavsky's widow, will attend the event.
