Economies of Central and Eastern Europe: Convergence, Opportunities and Challenges

Location: Tallinn (Estonia)
Period: June 13-15, 2010

Program

The main purpose of the conference will be to analyze: the macroeconomic effects and economic policy considerations under global turbolence; the consequences of economic fluctuations on the financial sector; the responses of labour market facing of the changed economic environment; the challenges for company management under economic fluctuations.

The conference tracks are:
• Macroeconomics;
• Financial markets and institutions;
• Labour market;
• Business environment;
• Management.

How to participate to the Conference

The participants have to register for the conference by April 2010, using the online registration form that will be available in due course.

The participation fee is 250 euro. For the students and for any persons accompanying the presenters the tuition fee is 160 euro.  The participation fee is payable by 15 April 2010 by means of bank transfer to the Tallinn University of Technology bank account.  After that date the fee will be 300 euro (200 euro for students), payable in cash on site during conference registration or by bank transfer beforehand. Students have to show their ISIC card or other proof of their student status when registering for the conference at the registration desk.

All the events outlined in the conference programme plus lunch and coffee-breaks on both conference days, as well as a conference CD, are included within the participation fee. Accommodation, transportation and any other costs are excluded from the participation fee.
