The New Politics of EU Integration: The View from Central and Eastern Europe

Location: Bucharest (Romania)
Period: May 21-22, 2010

Program

The symposium is aimed to analyze the involvement of some Central and East European (CEE) member states (i.e. Czech Republic and Poland) to European governance. In particular the attention will focus on the role of these countries in the negotiations and ratification of the Treaty of Lisbon and its relevance for this geographical area. The main purpose is to understand how post-Lisbon EU politics will be configured and what role CEE member states will play. The symposium will have two research topics: one focusing on policies and one focusing on institutions.

The programme and the keynote speakers list will be published later.
