Find your book on the online catalogues of the National Széchényi Library of Hungary
Founded in 1802, the National Széchényi Library has four online catalogues
The National Széchényi Library aims to provide a comprehensive coverage receiving two deposit copies of every kind of publication and print produced in Hungary including non-book materials (sound recordings, video materials, documents in electronic forms etc.), works published abroad in the Hungarian language, written by Hungarian authors, translated from Hungarian or related to Hungary, as well as manuscripts in Hungarian or pertaining to Hungary.
Nowadays, the Library has four on line catalogues releted on different kinds of printed material:
- NSZL catalogue: Modern books from about 1950 and periodicals
- The Hungarian National Shared Catalogue: The Hungarian Shared Catalogue of 17 Hungarian libraries
- Old catalogue and bibliographies: Old books from before 1920
- The Hungarian National Shared Catalogue-Rare publications: National Shared Catalogue of Rare Hungarian Publications
