Language Courses

Belgrade Summer School's mission is to enhance international communication through socialising of young people. With references to other summer schools throughout the world, the BSS project is conceived to contribute to a high-level improvement of its participants in their professional, cultural and social sense.

Belgrade Summer School gathers students and young professionals from the Serbian Diaspora and the international community, with the aim of introducing Belgrade and Serbia, places of great cultural and historical heritage, as well as enhancing communicational skills in one of the10 languages offered.

The requirements

The Belgrade Summer School is open to all people who would like to learn Serbian or other preferred world language - English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Greek, Russian, Arabic and Chinese. No prerequisites are necessary to participate in our programmes. Belgrade Summer School is designed as a workshop course, intended to help participants adopt the language of their choice by the end of the course.

Certification

All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance from The Concord Language School. This will certify that 30 hrs of language instruction were completed along with cultural immersion.
 
For English language learners, there are additional certificates that can be awarded from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Please see the website for more information.

Teen and Student Program for Non-Serbian Nationals: €299

Scholarships

Scholarships are reserved for international and Serbian students without the financial means to take part in BSS. In order to apply for this scholarship, please email us the scanned originals of the following documents, and their translation in Serbian or English if necessary:
 
1) Official document which states your or your family’s income for the previous year
2) Document showing your exam results in the last year (or a degree if you have graduated)
3) Motivation Letter
4)Curriculum Vitae (CV).
 
There are additional scholarships for students from Belgrade that are willing to be Hosts at the Belgrade Summer School. Hosts will be a part of the Organisational Committee and in charge of their fellow students' social programme. Hosts are responsible for making our participants feel welcome, enabling them a pleasant stay in Belgrade. If you would like to be a Host at the Belgrade Summer School please be sure to put that in your Motivational Letter.

 

How to participate to the Summer Language School

The Belgrade Summer School is Open to anyone to apply. Registration must be completed on the website.
