"Umid" Support to Social Development Public Union

Established in 1997, “UMID” HSSC is an indepenedent national NGO working to help the vulnerable/marginalized segment of the population, in resolving their basic needs, to end their social problems, improve the education, develop communities, create economic opporunities for the people, and cooperate/assist the international agencies functioning in the country.

Since its inception, the association has implemented a great number of projects, supported by famous foreign organizations, such as the UNHCR, BP, USAID, DRC, UNICEF, CHF, World Learning, Save the Children, British Embassy, Norwegian Embassy, Soros Foundation, the European Commission, and others.
