The show features two narrators, a man and a woman, who narrates four true stories of courage from one of the most atrocious and inhumane conflicts of our times: the civil war that bloodied former Yugoslavia between 1991 and 1995. Based on the journalistic work of Dr. Svetlana Broz (granddaughter of Tito, the President of the Yugoslav government), "The Choice" puts on stage extraordinary examples of heroism, courage and humanity. The play portrays beautifully stories of civil courage, of decisions and choices, all interwoven with a fascinating investigation of the real reasons of the conflict and the role of courage in our society.
